The department of Chemistry is established by the Sahajeevan Shikshan Sanstha’s, I.C.S. College of Arts, Commerce and Science in 1996. It offers Batchelor of Science degree. The department is well known for its teaching and research activities. The B. Sc. Chemistry course was introduced to meet the overwhelming response of Chemistry graduate students as well as the need of nearby chemical industries. The department of Chemistry is the prime department of the College with nearly more than 800 students have completed their UG course in Chemistry so far. Considering nearby MIDC zone of Lote and Mahad, MSc Organic chemistry introduced in 2022. Department of Chemistry have seven full time and qualified faculty, out of which four are doctorate. Department is full-fledged with all necessary equipments needed for UG and PG level.
