This Library established in 1990, with the establishment of Shrimati Indira Mahadev Beharay College of Arts, Shriman Chandulal Sheth College of Commerce and Shrimati Shobhganatai Chandulal Sheth College of Science. Initially the library was located in the small room in the main building with no space for various sections. It was later on shifted to a separate building with spacious reading rooms, Stack room, Periodical Section, Internet Room etc. The new building is located Centre of college buildings and easily accessible by various departments. The new building of the library is spread over an area of 287.74 sq. ft. (Built up area).The Library has a good collection on diverse areas of knowledge such as Languages and Literature, Social Sciences, Commerce and Management, Pure and Applied Science etc. Library are administered by the Librarian, Dr. R.S.Rajam with the assistance of a Library Attendant with the help of a Library Advisory Committee. Our library is continuously serves for the students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college with following mission, vision and objectives Mission: The mission of the Library is to Make Student’s Overall Personality development and Carrier Programme to develop a Library as Information & Knowledge Centre. Vision: Considering the mission, our library strives to To make students as book friendly. To develop good reading habits among the students & make them as excellent reader. Special Collection Maharashtra has received great sainthood. The place of Saint Dnyneshwar is the highest in it. To give the common man the very simple language of Lord Shri Krishna, Lord Ganesha has written Dnyaneshwari in the book. Further, many texts were written on this book, it has been translated. One of the important translations in it is the book “AbhangDnyanshwari” written by Swami Charanananda. This book is available in the library in 2 Volumes.

The book, Dnyaneshwari’s Word Store, created by the Marathi Research Board is also available in the library. In this sense, Dnyaneshwari made the special word used in this book with its meaning. Thus, the general reader helped a lot to understand Dnyaneshwari’s book.29 volumes of Encyclopedia Britannica are available in the library. These volumes are very useful to readers for any reference.

Similar to Encyclopedia Britannica, one of the best knowledge sources in Marathi is ‘Marathi Encyclopedia’. There are 18 volumes available in the library of this encyclopedia.

The library has a variety of dictionaries. Also Encyclopedia of Skill Development, Encyclopedia of Tribal& Uncivilized Recess of the world, Encyclopedic History of India Through Ages, Encyclopedia of The Worlds best Literature, Encyclopedia of Modern UGC Curriculum, Encyclopedia of Forensic Science etc. are there.

Libraries contain important texts such as General Science, Indian Literature, Indian Social Sciences, Sports DnyanKosh, and Century Research.The last 65 years of the arithmetic are available in the library. They are very important to study astrology. These are also made available for the surrounding researchers.
